I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!”  — Psalm 122

Worship at Zion Lutheran Church

Worship is the central activity of our life together at Zion.  We are somewhat traditional in our practice, following prescribed liturgy that is both spoken and sung.  Our services are rooted in scripture and include a celebration of Holy Communion each Sunday.  Together we gather to learn about God’s promises for us as His children, to grow in faith and service to God and one another, and to give thanks for the undeserved gift of our salvation that comes through faith in Jesus Christ.

When you arrive at Zion on Sunday mornings, our greeters will welcome you and give you a “bulletin” that guides you through the day’s worship service.  The service is also projected up front, so that it is easy to follow along.  A nursery is available for parents to leave babies and toddlers if desired, there are worship bags available for youngsters, and a Cry Room is available for families that want to worship together without worrying that their busy children might distract others.  Ushers can provide any special assistance you might need as well.

Please call the church office if you have any questions about worshiping at Zion.  You are always welcome to join us!
