Our Sunday School program has opportunities available for all ages
Join us for fun, new friends, and learning about our awesome God!
We currently are always looking for volunteers to help with Sunday School. You can volunteer your time once a month, once every other month, or as many Sundays as you would like! Here is a list of type of help that may be needed:
- Shepherd: A volunteer who helps the Sunday School teacher with crafts, engages with the students, and helps clean up. There is a shepherd for elementary and preschool
- Teacher: A volunteer who runs the Sunday School class. Required to look over lesson before the class, engage with the students, teach the lesson provided, and help clean up. There is an elementary teacher and a preschool teacher
- Substitutes: A volunteer who can substitute for a shepherd or teacher. If someone is unable to make it for Sunday School, this volunteer will fill in as needed.
- High School Teacher: A volunteer who would run a provided lesson each week with the Zion high schoolers. A chance to interact with today’s youth who will soon enter the adult world

Our High School program is designed around the continuation of students’ relationship with God after baptism and confirmation. We will work in small study groups to get a deeper understanding of what it means to be a Lutheran Christian in today’s world.

Each Sunday, various topics are explored that feature a leading voice from the Christian faith. Time is spent in discussion and sharing ideas with the group.
