Preschool and Elementary Sunday School

An opportunity for children to explore the Bible and learn about God’s love!

In Zion Lutheran’s Sunday school, preschoolers 3-5 years of age meet in “The Beginning” room to explore faith concepts through age-appropriate play spaces, prayers, music, and storytelling.​

Elementary children from kindergarten through 5th grade work together in their class as they navigate through stories of the Old and New Testaments.   They start each Sunday with music (both singing and chimes), followed by Bible time and activities related to the story they are learning each week.

A sacrament class is held in the Spring each year for second-grade students and any other students desiring to take communion.  In addition, our first graders are presented with their own Bibles as a gift from the congregation.
